Extreme Cheer is continuing our successful half-year program again for the 2010-2011 season to provide your child with the opportunity to be part of our Extreme Starz Family!
Satellite, or half-year teams, are ideal teams for individuals new to All Star cheerleading, or cheerleaders who participate in school or recreational sports. The half-year competition season runs December through March and teams will compete in 5-7 competitions, not traveling more than 1-1/2 hour drive time to local competitions and attend two overnight National Competitions.
History
In the 2009-2010 season, the Extreme Starz All Starz program were the CheerTech National & Grand Champions, US-Spirit National Champions, Quest for the Best Grand & National Champions, and SpiritCheer Grand & Nationals Champions! So you can be assured your child is joining a top notch, successful program!

Practices
Practices will begin the first week in December. Weekly practices will include 2 hours of cheer and 1 ½ hour of optional tumble. Cheerleaders will be trained in dance, stunting, motion technique, jumps, showmanship and tumbling. Teams will attend choreography sessions where they will learn the routine for the 2010-2011 competition season.
Practices will be held in fully equipped gymnastic facilities. Athletes will be trained on spring floors, tumble traks and trampolines in all aspect of cheerleading.
